Sunday, April 18, 2010. A positive side of the e-text. Is the wealth of resources supplied with it. I did enjoy creating my own blog. The hands-on projects provided a framework for applying the concepts learned by reading the text. These activities made the concepts real to me as I imagined how each technique would be used in my very own classroom. I felt the activities were the very best part of the course. PowerPoint is probably my all-time .
Will Ford Learning Portfolio in IT 645. Monday, May 3, 2010. The blog is an effective and interesting way to complete class requirements. The open nature of the blog is important in that it allows everyone in the class and elsewhere to share knowledge. Anything we put there is instantly available for anyone to see. The form does not have to be as detailed as this one, but a simplified version could prove to be a great asset. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Over the course of the last four months I have learned several useful resources to use in my classroom in the coming years. As technology develops it is the responsibility of the educator to familiarize himself with any technology which could be used to reach each student. Friday, May 7, 2010. I learned that a website could be a very useful communication tool between teachers and parents. I am going to definitely have a class website next year.
