While we drove I felt like I couldnt bare the pain of my contractions because my movement was so restricted. I wanted to be able to move with them and they only thing the car ride allowed me to do was awkwardly stretch out as far as I could to create as much space in my torso as possible. Not fun. I was 6cm dilated around 11 am, that is when I got an epidural. No more pain! I was just so relaxed. We cozied.
