I had the misfortune of watching the re-make of Red Dawn. Now that I mention it, my Great Uncle Emil Lemke. Who recently passed away, was a paratrooper in WWII. In 1943, Emil enlisted in the U.S. Army and served with the 17th Airborne Div. Uncle Emil, youre an American hero, and will be missed. For which I have yet to see the original.
