What would you try if you knew you could not fail? For the second season, I am training for Ironman. It is a fully selfish endeavor. I know this, I knew this when I signed up. Ha! My entire life fits AROUND my training. Shower and prepare for work at gym.

Thursday, October 2, 2014. 2014 Snake River Half Marathon. This race is FLAT and FAST. The big challenge is avoiding the wind. It gets really windy in this canyon so much that you really have to draft when the winds are strong. I drove down to this race with Jeremy we had some great conversation. I did my regular warming up.

Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Well once again the new job had foiled my original plans, Thursday and Friday turned out to be two back to back 10 hour days so I decided to not race the Edinboro Olympic triathlon in PA on Saturday and jump in on a local sprint duathlon. We started Saturday with a 2 hour tempo ride then headed off to packet pickup where I volunteered from 1-5 to help with packet pickup and set up the bike racks, then I headed home for some pasta and tuned the bike up.
