Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Happy 3rd Birthday, Tater! My heart is overflowing with thankfulness as I love you Tate! You are so fun, all about sports, and show love to everyone. Unfortunately, Parker came down with the flu the day of your party. Maaytah advised us to cancel the party since the boys are always together and it was likely that Tate had the flu also.

Real or not, snow has a magical way of transforming the world into a winter wonderland, and making me feel like a kid again. Snow is also an essential part of our yearly tradition of going. Skiing which is kinda the best thing ever! I love filling my home with wonderful smells and getting. To share delicious treats with friends.

Monday, November 26, 2012. At the beginning of October my sister, Melissa, sister in laws, Bonny-Kate, Sarabeth and Sara, and friend, Kristin, threw a cute baby sprinkle for little Benjamin. It was precious and so fun to celebrate his upcoming arrival! He got some really cute things and it was fun to get some blue to add to the house.

The Shame Of Should In Parenting. Recently, I was at a conference and a speaker made a joke about his young children being disrespectful and he and his wife questioning what they were doing wrong. The whole audience laughed but there was more to it than just a response to a funny joke. There was a tangible sense of relief as people realized that this influential, God-fearing speaker had children that misbehaved as well.
