Friday, September 13, 2013. A week in Breckenridge was just what our little family needed. The beginning of a new summer tradition. Ellie had her third and final dance recital with South Tulsa Dance Co. We sure will miss seeing Claire every week.

I just cannot believe you are twelve. Today you are wearing pads and getting hit for the first time this year at football practice, so it seemed like a good time to be all nostalgic about my baby growing up. And also because your birthday was three weeks ago. I hope time and again you will go after life with confidence; trusting that God has big plans for you and believing that He will lead you well.

Just a little blog about our family. 8230; being on my way to work and hearing on the radio that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center and wondering how that even happened. 8230; working at Kay Jewelers and a guy working at Foot Locker with the TV on, saying another plane had crashed. I never even thought about terrorism.
