Scott left for his first Deployment to Kuwait. He is really excited about learning new things and seeing a new country, well that was until he got there! We are also getting ready to go to Michigan for the holidays.

Monday, January 16, 2012. Time has flown by so fast! Little Scotty is already 4 months old. It actually makes me sad that he is growing up so fast. I dont have much to say, just thought Id share a few pictures. Its been fun learning how to take care of a baby, not so much fun trying to figure out how to fit regular life in with having a baby . Thursday, March 18, 2010. 1st Week of March 2010. 32 Weeks Along- -I feel so ready. Do I look like it? Kimmie wanted to go to Kangaroo Zoo for her Birthday. They spent the rest of the afternoon bouncing around. Who knew Jacob would be so interested in T-Ball? He waited a long time to play this there. He did really well also. Kimmie got roller skates for her Birthday. She let Jacob have a roll at them.
I was pleased to see HuffPo feature this NYT magazine article. Nor are they a new phenomenon. What is new in my lifetime though is that finally this sort of injustice is emerging into mass consciousness, no longer invisible to the majority of middle-class white people.
