Sunday, June 26, 2011. Sunday, February 6, 2011. Because of the ice storm, our driveway was covered in about 3 inches of straight ice. Today was finally warm enough for us to scrape the ice off the driveway. Drew is skating on our walkway! Syd is working away on the first layer of ice on the driveway. Simon is all bundled up for the cold weather. Mom has finally reached the cement of the driveway. It took a lot of work! Natalie works hard. and looks cute too! The driveway is all clear! .

But had a really hard time smiling afterward. Chris had a great year running for County Commissioner. We tried to do as much as we could as a family, and the boys loved walking in the parades. Another parade, and this time Bridgett and Boyd joined us.

PLANT SMILES, GROW GIGGLES, HARVEST LOVE. All that is needed for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. Monday, September 1, 2014. Grief is a Crazy Thing. Things I have learned in the last 2 weeks. It has been heartbreaking for my kids. In some ways they are able to separate themselves from the grief and act just like kids. Then the other times when they are afraid to go to sleep because they might die in their sleep.

My hope is that you will leave it feeling uplifted, motivated or somehow it will benefit you and your family.

Such a gorgeous time of year in Germany. As we drove to Amsterdam area, we passed numerous fields, trees and villages, in all their fall splendor. First stop was the Vincent Van Gogh Art Museum which we had tickets and an entrance time for. Which was fortuitous timing since it started raining as we walked up.

Saturday, February 9, 2013. Once there was a SNOWMAN! We have enjoyed a great Saturday! It started with waking up to lots of snow. We cleaned the church building and then enjoyed a yummy breakfast at Lone Star. Then we came home and played in the snow. Our snowman is over 7 feet tall! It took the whole family to lift the head in place. Snowman can stay around for a few days. We built a snow fort and went sledding. We are so grateful for the beautiful snow. Tuesday, July 12, 2011.

Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Fit Republik Gymnastics Competition - 12 June 2015. Exactly one week after the competition in Abu Dhabi, we had another one at our new gym. We left the house 10 minutes before we needed to be there. The only problem with that was that there was limited seating and we did a lot of standing for the first hour or so.

Thursday, December 29, 2011. I have been looking so forward to these 2 weeks off from the crazy schedules, and just enjoy lazy mornings and fun times with my kids. Our annual tradition of decorating gingerbread houses together.

Once Upon A Time in Las Vegas. Thursday, June 3, 2010. There is something really great about taking a road trip with just one of your off-spring. The older Erika gets, the more fun we have together! She has a hilarious sense of humor and we have so many inside jokes and things that crack us up. Going to Moab was another opportunity to make more memories and have a great time together.
