As my training continues year after year I have realized that I have had the same revelations time and time again. Part of this is the ongoing process of finding new depths within each technique, but part of it is also that I simply forget the flash of inspiration that I saw, heard or felt on the mat in the same way that a dream dissipates moments after waking. This is my attempt to hold onto those flashes of brilliance and understanding. It is also a place to share them.

Aikido is not EASY! However, its so worth doing. I tried to spend as much time as possible on the mat in 2005, now I feel like I can do some more, I should. not just time wise, but to make the time on the mat more effective.
