Friday, October 17, 2014. Last week we went on our first real vacation in several years. It was SO nice to get away together. We stayed in a beautiful cabin in Duck Creek, north of Kanab, Utah. Marianne is preparing for the triple team and dad is preparing to paint another nursery. We are due August 20th. Here are a few profile shots of little baby Dowdle. Any name suggestions? Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The Virginia Creeper Trail is an old railway now purposed into a bike trail through the mountains of Virginia. From the top of mountain, and I use that term loosely since mountains are more like hills around these parts, it is a seventeen mile coast down to the bottom. We headed up to Virginia Friday morning with our friends the Starks. We anticipated a leisurely ride, enjoying the scenery, and stopping for picnics and play. Hah! We loaded up and began our decent.
