This blog is used to present school assignments. Do grades build you up, or do they break you down? Another thing about giving grades to ten-year-olds is how they not always understand what these grades stand for.

I have now posted assignments 4 and 5 in our conference in First Class. You will be working with an article by Peter Barry, also posted in FC, for both assignments. I have also posted a guide to quoting and paraphrasing which will be helpful when you work with assignment 5.

Do we want depressed young students or children being children? Our Centre-Right Alliance government has an idea about how we can make our schools better by authority and grades from early stages. Why do so many students ending school without the knowledge they should have? Is it because of sloppy teachers, a lack of grades in primary school or a let-go mentality in school both by teachers and students? It will be comparison and maybe even bullying between chi.
