Sunday, April 15, 2007. A land of wild and wonderful beaches. It was a warm day, so once back at Cockle Creek I though a swim to freshen up might be in order. If freshening up was the only objective, then it was met with no questions, however the swim was not exactly relaxing. the water was freeeeeeezing, despite the 25 degrees air temperature, and I barely laster 10 seconds under water. During the second week of October, Brian and I went away from Monday to Saturday with the caravan and Georgie to spend some time near Tumut and in Temora. The first day we travelled to Tumut and then to the Goobranda River staying in the Thomas Boyd Trackhead. The river was very pretty as you can see. There was a suspension bridge over it. Sunday, June 01, 2014. A day in the garden, me trying to get the bonfire going, to no real joy until it was time to come in, but then still the fire refused to burn all of the rubbish. Also, spent some of the day painting the seat by the pond, and spraying the roses against black spot. Carol was planting some of the purchases from Saturday. Monday, August 30, 2010. This morning was spent cutting up a tree that was blown down in the high winds that we experienced yesterday.
