Maria in Venice

Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Feast of St. Lucia, the MOSE, the Port, and Paolo. Oh, I almost forgot to add that there was actually snow in the air yesterday! Yesterday morning, as we were waiting for our boat for the tour to pick us up, it was flurrying just a little bit. Apparently snow in Venice is a really rare thing, so I was excited that we got to see it. Wednesday, December 9, 2009. First of all, thank you everyone for my card! I finally got it yesterday and it completely made my day, it was awesome!

Made in China seems to be present on every shelf in the world. When coming to the US from the Eastern Europe I thought I will not see Chinese goods in the stores any longer. I thought that the Americans have different standards than poor Eastern European countries. I was expected to see products manufactured at least in Mexico or in Central America, not to mention Canada. So, America must plan ahead .
