Tuesday, October 5, 2010. I had the pleasure of meeting Allie Lippert, an Interior Designer, who shared some of her design secrets with me. Allie and her husband, Don, gutted their house and tore down walls to get the open concept they wanted. Even though the space is open you can see four well defined spaces which were created with wall coverings, area rugs, paint, and furniture placement. My favorite touch is the faux grandfather clock which divides the living room and the dining room spaces.
