Room 1 Mapua School. Tuesday, 9 December 2008. The big day out. On December the 4th, 2008,we went to the ASB Aquatic Centre. It was really fun! We went into the wave pool, lazy river and lots more! After we got out of the pool we had something to eat. Then we went to Rabbit Island. The wind got really strong and we had to go back to school. Back at school we had free time. The Room 2 children have been busy designing, making and modifying boats over the past 6 weeks. They have made cork raft, flax waka, tinfoil boats and many more exciting crafts. Mia W made a Lego raft. how well will this float? Ahhhhh abandon ship everyone. Alius was proud of his cork raft with a paper sail.

Wednesday, June 17, 2009. We had a special visit from the Motueka High School Band and choir. They played lots of different songs and we learnt how to do the hand-jive.
