Welcome to the Autumn term in Year 1. Our visit to the environmental garden. Welcome back to the Spring term. We will explore the characters, setting and write recounts of the stories. The children will work in groups to design and make fairy tale houses using junk modelling. We are looking forward to a very busy Spring term.

We have been reading different Mr Men and Little Miss books. In our Computing lessons we used 2 Simple software to draw different characters and write a description of their appearance and behaviour. In Year 2 we have been solving measuring challenges! .

Keep up to date with our work! Science and Discovery Week. Last week was Science and Discovery week at Manford. We also put lots of effort into our outfits on Friday. Year 3 children dressed as famous scientists, skeletons, magnets among other great costumes! We tried hard to figure out how to make our circuit complete.

We would like to thank all the parents, carers and children who sent in cakes, 50p for dressing up or raised sponsorship money for the RSPCA, it all helps to support animal welfare as well as teaching our children about charity and to think of others. Bears in the snow! .
