ابتداي همان شب حدود 20 دانشجو در مقابل ساختمانهاي 19 و 20 كوي جمع شدند و با دم گرفتن سرود يار دبستاني در محيط كوي چرخي زدند. آنها به خيابان كارگر شمالي رفتند و تا تقاطع بزرگراه جلال آل احمد راهپيمايي كردند. كشمكش ميان دانشجويان گرايشهاي مختلف با مسئولين دانشگاهها بر سر دريافت مجوز برگزار.
