Tuesday, 30 July 2013. So, how do I rate this trip? I managed to get 79 new rollercoasters to my count; which was pretty incredible, and a small number of those were ones that myself and Kat were the first to ride, which means more to me than the count these days. I visited 54 parks in the 3 weeks I was out there, again some of them we were the first enthusiast group to visit. I have lots of great memories of this trip, with the coaster highlight easily being the visit to .
In the Summer of 2008 the European Coaster Club undertook a tour of Middle America running from Texas up to Minnesota. Wanting to see a bit more I added a week beforehand taking in Mexico. The week after which was initially heading into Canada but was changed to head west to Las Vegas. No Country for Old Men. Anyway we eventually got to the hotel, the Holiday Inn Express in dow.
My fourth club trip to the US with the European Coaster Club saw the trip starting in the Carolinas and ending in Toronto. My original plan had a week prior starting in Florida and a week after ending in Boston but with an opportunity to go on another trip I dropped the extensions and chose to do just the club bit instead.
