This afternoon she had an EGD scope to look at the veins throughout the GI tract. One of the complications of her liver disease is high blood pressure through the GI tract veins. These veins can enlarge and rupture. Of course little liver that could is at it again. No veins look threatening for rupture. Good job Dr. Anesthesiologist! Makelle spent alo.
