I can now reveal that I am retiring from my firm and returning permanently to the UK. The tandem and Tri bikes in Bahrain are sold, and the other two bikes are packed and looking forward to joining my bike stable in the UK. So the title of this blog is now redundant. We decided to head off straight away which meant a mind numbing slow bike ride with 00s navigating buses and car queues. Thursday, 6 June 2013. Aargh-grrrrr - the rocks are killing me. I think we were really speeding through the southern part of the state when I last blogged a couple of weeks ago. Weekend of 13 Sept 2002. I no longer had job. The weather forecast looked good everywhere. The days were still long. The rest of the family were otherwise occupied that weekend.
