Gabriel had open heart surgery at 5 days old because he was born with a congenital heart defect called Transposition of the Great Arteries with a hole in his heart. Alexander said his favorite thing about camping was swimming. He has become quite the swimmer since swimming lessons. He can swim to the bottom of the pool and touch and then come back up.
