A year in the Horn of Africa. I still come back to this blog every once in awhile, and have read with great interest the comments left by various visitors. I look forward to hearing more inspiring news from Abaarso and am forever grateful for the incredible year I spent in Somaliland with such motivated and talented students.
Trust me, there are a lot of things that make living in Morocco VERY different than living in the US! What do they eat? How are things similar and different? I hope that my blog has addressed things.
When I think back to all the ups and downs, all the learning and growing I have undergone over the past 19 months. When I think about how much this country has changed me, and hope that I have changed it for the better, even just a little bit.
