I have defeated you globaloria, you and all your fiddley cantankerous software. Never again will I sit here in this sweltering computer lab, dwelling over a misplaced colon in a line of code for an hour and a half. Though I suppose it was not nearly as bad as I originally thought, it was fun at the end, the people were nice, and I learned some stuff. Someone has the opinion that you should buy that object.

But some days I feel lucky that I got through my first manuscript mostly on my own, without all of the noisy advice that seems prevalent online, especially Twitter.
For my final project in Logos and Symbols we had to create an on-air icon set. These are symbols used to represent sports news, weather, and traffic conditions. The Daily Buzz just recently had a logo redesign contest to change their look so these icons are supposed to match the new logo. Here is the new icon and part of the style guide I had to work with to make my icons. Here are some pre-production sketches of my icons. Well I have my first project .
