The Lodz Ghetto Trees series began as part of a yearlong historical and sociological workshop that focused on survivors of the Lodz ghetto. The other half was a mixture of Jews, Germans and Russians. So, I decided to photograph the trees growing in the area where the ghetto .

The purpose for this blog is to document and provide you with my first hand experience as a homeowner working through the process of building a custom home.
