The Design work is part of the diverse Diploma Programme at UEL Architecture. It is thaught in the Atelier or Unit system and offers a wide range of choices and preferences for each individual MArch student. The module has a duration of 2 semesters.
The supporting studies module allows students to enrich their design work and understanding of Architecture with three independent compulsory courses. Within the module, the Theory Route accounts for 30 credits, Technical Studies for 15 credits and Professional Studies for 15 credits. The theory route comprises 10 lectures and a 4 000 - 5 000 word essay or an aquivalent piece of work.
