Wednesday, December 7, 2016. First and foremost, I began the analysis by clipping the raster to the extent of the census tract data provided. Secondly, I utilized a zonal statistics tool as a table in order to determine the total impervious areas. I then joined the zonal statistics as a table results table to the census data. Once these tables were joined I performed an intersect with the school district data. This was one of the more difficult labs to complete.

Dasymetric mapping uses additional information such as land type to improve determining where populations are allocated.
