Wednesday, November 30, 2011. My OPAM this month are three Cloth Books. While there I came up with the idea of getting the children to draw on a piece of cotton and the I would turn it into a book. There were three groups with 22 children in it. A task in a half and three weeks later I manage to have all children do a drawing. The children then drew a picture of their favorite thing.
I remember yesterday - I have hopes for tomorrow, but my interest is in today. Thursday, April 10, 2014. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. This is the best funnel in the whole world. It is a milk container cut down and I use it for so many things. It has a very wide neck and the handle is just so good for holding the funnel steady. I also use it to bottle my jams and pickles. Monday, March 11, 2013.
Sunday, March 20, 2011. Today I finished the binding on this quilt. I have had this Cherish Nature Jelly Roll for a while and never could find the right pattern, till Gail. Another day, another dream. Well back to the sewing room to finish off the binding on a quilt.
So much for good intentions. I wish I could tell you that my morning would be spent here. But with a long list of things to do before leaving for Salt Lake City and Quilt Market this week, thats not likely to happen. Did I tell you that I moving in January? 0160;I did. Thursday, January 2, 2014. This gorgeous quilt was made and sent to me by Cathy. For our Friends in Stitching Secret Santa. There were little advent parcels too; TREAT was the mug with chocolates, NATIVITY was the nativity orny, ANGEL was the angel orny and ANTLERS was the cute reindeer orny. SANTA is this lovely Lynette Anderson decoration.
Anyway better late than never I suppose. I then made these small placemats - just for something different to do. I actually made them for a gift but I might change my mind and do something else yet. That is it from me at the moment. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.
