Watching the river flow. Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Birdie with a yellow bill. Or yellow feathers, at least. He arrived on a ledge outside a different third-floor window this morning. A co-worker noticed him; he seemed lifeless, at first. After a while, he came around. We speculated that perhaps he had flown into the glass, face-first.
