Tuesday, May 4, 2010. I actually lost 70 lbs in 2004 and have kept it off with the exception of 10 lbs. This time I want it to be different. I want to see the weight loss to the end. To do that, I truly believe I have to understand why. Why did this happen to me? Why did I allow this to become a way of life? I am writing this blog as a long term sufferer of Keratoconus in both eyes. Keratoconus is a degenerative disease which causes the cornea to become cone shaped and thinner. My left eye also has scarring on it due to an ulcer several years ago. I have no sight in the eye just dark and light and the transplant is my only hope of seeing in this eye.
