Thursday, April 28, 2011. I found myself with really nothing to do on Good Friday, which is rare for me on a day off. I have been wanting to make a table runner for my coffee table since I got it 4 months ago. It just seems to be a dust collector. I clean it and 10 mins later I feel there is a layer of dust on it already. I also finished my 3x6 Bee blocks which I will post and get sent hopefully this weekend. Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Thursday, February 15, 2018. I have one more quilt to share. I guess that means I need to get busy basting my quilt tops. This is a very simple quilt and came together pretty quickly. Monday, February 28, 2011. Thanks for giving us such a fun challenge this month, Nettie! Was priceless. I took the mash-up of the rainbow colors surrounded by grey from that photo, and wound up with this block. I hope that, within the larger quilt top, this little patch of wonky squares will be a fun pop of color. This is the end right? Can you believe we are already in february. Monday, December 25, 2017. I have been busy busy over here lately so blogging has sort of fallen by the wayside. But! Never fear, I have been sewing and knitting for sure. A lot of gift making really, so also I had to wait to share until I had given the stuff. That I thought would showcase the middle squares well. The fabric was super cute and fun to work with and everything came together really easily. I gifted this quilt at Thanksgiving.
