It does not seem very heavy at all but I know that it weighs more than Okoume plywood. The first strip is clamped to each form and then glued to the transom and the Bow. Petrel build

Monday, May 25, 2015. My Petrel took the award for BEST KAYAK at Okoumefest 2015. The Tri County Times did a story about my kayaks. Sunday, May 10, 2015. I got a chance in between thunder showers to take the Petrel out on its maiden voyage. I had a little trouble squeezing my big white royal Arabian butt into the 17 inch wide cockpit. But once I was in, it went very well. Sunday, April 19, 2015. I also want to try some other kayaks out so that I can decide on what kayak to build next.
