Help Chris Get CrossFit L1 Certified! My CrossFit blog that occasionally dabbles into the rest of my life. This blog started as a way to chronicle my undertaking of this crazy fitness trend known as CrossFit. I parlayed this fitness journey as a metaphor for the most noblest of journeys the pursuit of happiness. To pursue something is an active endeavor; you must go after said object. You can stalk it or chase it or bully your way right up to it.

Turns out that taking qualifying for granted was very premature. This year, the Granite Games folks have upped their advertising campaign and the end result is that there are now 81 competitors in my age class, from as far away as Tasmania thats in Australia, apparently. And these old chicks are good. Is not conducive to maximum speed.CONTENT

Saturday, May 17, 2014. I signed up for Facebook and my blog got left in virtual rubble. I suppose the blog is not read any longer anyway so I can put something more private on here. Remarked that I was going to get the best sleep ever with everyone gone. How many times have I looked at someone with harsh, human eyes instead of kind, eternal eyes that see them for who they re.

Sunday, December 14, 2014. Well, after a long break of not posting here we go! For Thanksgiving this year we traveled to Idaho Falls and had a nice break with Mom and Dad Gilbert, Katie, Robby and Kathryn and their cute kids! This is a picture of Elle with her cousin.
