Competing in the New York Golden Gloves was probably the most memorable experience of my life. It allowed my father and I the chance to share a common goal and spend quality meaningful time together. Along the journey, I made hundreds of friends, some of whom I still keep in touch with today. It made me feel like a semi celebrity. Boxing tournament was considered by many boxing aficionados as one of the most elite.
