Saturday, January 14, 2012. The Trumpet Flowers.this was my Grandpas favorite tree in their yard. Every 8 weeks or so, trumpet flowers would bloom. The flowers only last at most up to a week so we were thrilled that we were there to see them! Gracie caught a ring that was thrown from the second story - what a talent! Tuesday, July 28, 2015. He and his wife adopted a little boy five or six years ago. I congratulated him and we talked about the adoption process and how they were nearly to the point of giving up rather than renew their application when they were chosen by a birth mom.
