Living in Rochester

Monday, August 27, 2012. Thank you to readers and responders. As you can tell by the age of the posts, other life events have taken my wife and I away from writing posts for quite a while. However I am continuously impressed by the number of people who continue to access the site, and often take the time to comment. And I see from the content so much has happened in the mean time. Thank you to all who continue to access the content and add thoughts of your own. Posted by Tim Mortenson. 42 E Main Street.

Living in rural Mallorca Country life in an old Mallorcan finca

Country life in an old Mallorcan finca. No country for old rubbish. Dumped white goods make me see red! Who dumped this lot in the entrance to a field in our valley? When I first visited the Spanish peninsula in my late teens, on a touring holiday, I was shocked by the rubbish I saw discarded in the countryside. Stained mattresses, disgusting cookers, saggy sofas, and more were dumped here and there in rural areas. Where people can take unwanted items.
