Friday, December 7, 2007. I really enjoyed this class this semester! Something i would recommend fixing for the next semester would be to make more requirements for the chapter teaches. I felt that they were very redundant and when we had more in one day, it was pretty boring and i sometimes found myself not paying as close of attention. Wednesday, December 5, 2007.
Wednesday, December 5, 2007. I mean I had an idea from the course title that we would be discussing how to teach literature, but other than that I was clueless. As it turns out, this class introduced me to several new, worthwhile strategies that I will definitely take with me and implement in my own classroom. I enjoyed how our instructor, Todd, was very supportive and genuine in his guiding of the classroom.

It would be embarrassing to do a videoconference lecture with another class and then have that class or that teacher judging your abilities. Sunday, December 9, 2007. I think this was a great class. We had a small group but a good mix of different opinions on the topics we discussed. Wikispaces - I wish we could have done more with the wikispaces. I feel that it was the focus of our class the beginning of the semester and then we just kind of forgot about it. Next time I would recommend posting something on it every couple of weeks instead of 3-4 weeks continuously and then not again. Group Teach - I loved the group te.
Wednesday, December 12, 2007. This was, far and away, one of the most influential classes that I have been a part of here at Western. I feel as though the small class environment and the discussion based classroom really elevated the level of learning that we experienced. Wednesday, December 12, 2007. I particularly enjoyed this class and getting a chance to explore literary theory. I had very little experience in working with literary theory and this class opened my eyes to how literary theory can get students interested in reading and understanding a text. The aspect of the class that I truly appreciated was listening to everyones. 4800 and bring it into my future classroom to help benefit my students.
