We are based in the Hart District and are committed to making allotments available for the people in areas of Hart where allotments have not been available. The good news is that we now have allotments up and running at Pilcot Farm on Hitches Lane. All Pilcot plots are currently taken. However there is a waiting list in operation, and there will be more to come when the Edenbrook site comes to fruition. Apply to join the society.

To the left of that square of Sweetcorn is some Curly leafed Parlsey, beyond the next hurdle are some more Shallots and some dark purple Cornflowers, all planted out this weekend. The strip to the left has been weedkilled due to amounts of bindweed poking its nose out.

Sunday, 20 January 2013. Camellia - say Hello to 2013. On the 15th January the camellias are blooming and we have our first dusting of snow. Wednesday, 2 January 2013. How better to welcome a New Year than with flowers? This year I intend to sow a pot of something every day! Its a plan - of sorts! 31st December - Togi and Blue OSU bush tomatoes. 1st January - Salad Bowl lettuce and Lemon basil. 2nd January - Lyon Prizetaker leeks and White Lisbon Spring onions.

I picked the first two last night after planting them in the garden last week. They smell divine. I put Walking Onions in the front garden last year, the first batch did indeed walk a few inches and both are now starting to form the top sets. Sunday, 18 December 2016. A new way of doing things.
