This is our travelling blog, featuring our adventures around Australia. Monday, July 29, 2013. The chooks were relocating to their new home and making the acquaintance of the other four already in residence. It is so peaceful here with lovely green undulating hills and the presence of the sheep gathered in the paddocks nearby, surrounding the house.
This is the view from the balcony of the house we were staying at looking up the road to the beach car park and the sea. It is a wonderful view.
A visual record of my finished creative works -. I have been quilting for about 4 years, now, and have become totally hooked on this creative outlet. I have always loved colour , design and fabric so combining them made a lot of sense. Most of these quilts have appeared on my other blog. I do have photos of other quilts to share later, although some will not appear here as they were never photographed.

The first week of January found me getting into the cleaning and sorting of the house. 1 Kat came back from her work on the rig and gave me a hand to get some areas sorted. Kat decided she was too hot and shaved her hair in early December. These pictures are taken after 1 month of hair growth. Wednesday, 2 January 2013.

Things Im Thankful For. I have been a busy girl. . These 2 quilts came back from the quilter Ruth at Stitched and Bound Machine Quilting Service towards the end of July, but I have only just launched into binding them this week. It has been so relaxing, sitting near the window in the Spring sun, stitching happily. The first one finished is Fandango. 73 x 73 made from a Kate Spain Layer Cake. Ruth quilted this one with a lovely circular feather style, that makes this quilt lovely and snuggly.CONTENT
