The life of a graduate student who is delaying her entry into the real world for as long as possible. Yesterday I made the conscious decision to leave the Peace Corps. It was truly one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I know what most of you are thinking. but you just started! I know this but I came to the realization rather quickly once I was there. Not at this time in my life.
Friday, October 15, 2010. I cannot believe I have slacked and not blogged in almost 9 months! Time to play catch-up! I graduated May 8th with my AA. Justin was sworn into the US Army June 17th. We found out we will be moving to Fort Hood, TX next year. We found out July 5th we will have our first child in March of next year. We were able to hear the heartbeat for the first time on Aug 20th. Well, we are getting tired,.
Monday, December 13, 2010. Do you know how much happens in a year? Wella lot. Got engaged to the most amazing man. Planned a wedding and got married. Went on an incredible honeymoon. Gained a whole new set of family. And got my first job as middle school teacher of kids with emotional behavioral disorders.

I had such hopes that I would be able to keep this blog updated but it seems to be falling by the wayside. We were back at Martin House on Saturday, they were holding a rememberance day for all the children that had passed away within the last 2 years. It was an incredibly draining day - emotions were all brought back to the front again and it just made me feel so sad. BUTthen they let us loose on Robins food! That man can cook lol.
