I stopped blogging for a while I figured with Facebook, Twitter and social media no one really read my blog anymore. Boy was I wrong! I was like WOW this lady gets it! Please look for me on Facebook under klshoemake.
I also have a rare disease called Mastocytosis. This causes me to have spots all over my body. This is my on going story. I am conservative in my politics, devout to my friends, and passionate about my family. Wednesday, September 9, 2009. Now mind you I have never done this, and have been lucky enough to basically eat whatever I want! Now I know that I can no longer do this.
Saturday, June 27, 2009. This disease is so unpredictable. I know some of my triggers, but many still remain a mystery to me. Heat- I live in South Texas where the temperature is around 105 all summer long. Humidity- a killer for me. Melon- cantaloupe and honey dew. Friday, June 26, 2009.

Monday, April 18, 2011. New Home in the Mountains. November 2010 was move in month. We built a new home in the picturesque mountains of Utah. After six months of construction we began the process of settling into life outside of a hotel and it was grand. Preparation for change helps with the adjustments that always come. Good friends and family are so supportive so we are doin.

Maya went off to her first day of preschool today after our long trip back to Cairo from the U. , and she was a bit jet lagged but she made it. Maya was a little young for the lesson.
Has it really almost been a year since I blogged? I took a break from blogging- partially due to the fact that my Macbook crashed and partially because I needed. So what has changed in a year? Oh goodness.
