Thursday, August 9, 2007. This is a macro of the black ice ice over pavement that I slipped on, while trying to take photos of the shipwreck in Embree, Newfoundland. I guess wearing sneakers wasnt the best idea. Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Jos mom took me to a small tourist town called Twillingate, to show me the lookout near the lighthouse. I love photographing lighthouses so not only was the lookout a treat but so was the photographic experience of capturing the lighthouse! Im currently living in Alb.CONTENT

Musings on Life, Politics, Golf, Tech. Two weeks ago we had the coldest weather that I have experienced since I moved to Las Cruces. The official temperature dropped to 1 but the outside thermometer at my house registered -7. The cold weather caused electrical blackouts, frozen pipes, water shortages, and natural gas stoppages across New Mexico and West Texas. The freeze also did havoc to many plants in the region.

My Husband Made Me Move To New Zealand. Dear Husband and I went to a party last Sunday where the hosts told this story. The hosts were out for a stroll near the ocean when they saw two tourists too close to a sea lion. The hosts wondered if they should warn the group to stay away. Sea lions are not known for being nice to tourists, New Zealanders or penguins. Land of the amazing Opera House! In reality, the building looks like.
