Survival of the Fittest? Having a mental illness is a challenge that most of us would not wish upon anyone else. There are days that are harder than others and sometimes we do feel like giving up. I guess I am just a perpetual optimist. Even in my darkest moments I never lose that tiny bit of hope that keeps me from totally giving up. That light still is shining although sometimes I have to strain to see it.
