Friday, 9 February 2007. Hi I have been looking for a way of preserving Artichokes but have not found any methods so far. The only way that I have found is to freeze them. Heres the details. Cut off the course outer leaves and the stems the you need to trim of the top and remove the choke. Wash thoroughly then blanch with a few drops of lemon juice. Blanch for 5-7 mins then drain upside down. Pack them in rigid containers. If anyone knows of a way to preserve, it would be good to learn. Juice of 2 lemons.CONTENT
