LES-engine - test 1. 2011-11-19. This is the first step in the development of the LES-system Launch escape system. The purpose of this system is that if a situation appear where the main rocket booster fails and exposes the cargo for risk, the LES-system will automatically be triggered and fly the cargo away from the failing booster.
