Thursday, May 8, 2008. As my last post said, I finished my first half Marathon on May 4! After the national anthem was sung, the very loud gun went off and the race was on! However, back where I was standing, it was more like the walk was on. I expected people to stop and walk throughout the entire race. However, the people around me did not stop! I only saw one start to walk. I considered walking, but I realized I would probably watch ab.
Thursday, May 29, 2008. We now have two college graduates! Dan received BS degrees in both Physics and Math on May 10. Over 2400 diplomas were handed out. Luckily, they do not read every name like they do for high school. It rained after the ceremony. We found a good use for the mortarboard as a rain hat. The next day, we moved Dan out of the dorm for the last time. Moving in and out of dorms definitely gives one an incentive to graduate! Rachel came in .
