The train took us directly into Gare du Nord. 160;so we settled back into our seats and watched the french countryside roll past. After making it so far over such a short period of time it felt as if this were an admission of defeat, we had made it all the way into France yet we couldnt make this final stretch. After arriving in the station we rushed out into the street took photos to prove our accomplishment then rushed to get the connection to Charles de Gaulle.
