We got there on Sunday evening and stayed the night at a hotel right near the beach. We went out to eat and then took the kids to play in the ocean for a while. Friday, January 13, 2012. We had brunch with Santa at the Tavern in Luling, Daphne was sicky and slept through most of our visit. They got to ask him all the questions theyve ever wondered about him. We found out that his favorite cookie is oatmeal raisin and that if you dont have a chimney, he makes a key out of magic.He was super cool and really had Catherine questioning the fact that I told her he was fake. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Since we returned from the snowy days of February, we have been busy reading Julie of the Wolves. The students are really into the story and learning quite a lot about wolves at the same time. We have been integrating the use of laptops by using a webquest created solely for use with this book, and of course, blogging on our classroom reading blog.
