Wednesday, 20 July 2011. Well folks, we had finally reached the big day itself 16th July 2011. There was no more training walks, no more equipment to buy and no more forums to obsessively check in the hope of gleaning more sage-like advice from other walkers. After Stage 3 the rain eased off, we got our legs. Out and pressed forward with renewed vigour.
