Sunday, April 26, 2009. When we watched the Frontline video I was surprised that the judge was Asian. Very little mention is ever made of the ethnicity of a judge when discussing the trial. Usually the issue of race revolves around blacks vs. Hispanics, Asians, and Native Americans are never mentioned in any discussion of the trial outside of this paper. What I find unbelievable is the way these remarks and jokes were responded to, with people like Senator DAmato apologizing by saying they didnt mean to offend anyone.
