Despite what the weather outside may suggest, spring is officially here. And for those of us tolerating yet another bout of rain and snow, keep your head up.

There is nothing like coming home from a long vacation away and making that first trip back to the local farmers market. 73 degrees and sunny with the perfect amount of warm breeze, a rainbow of vibrant shades of greens and blues up against the sand, and an endless amount of hard to find wild mushrooms. Oh, i think i fell in love with LA all over again. Hmm, what shall i make? I hope you are surrounded by beautiful things today. how cliche is that? Apparently, not much has changed.

Its been only a month since our last getaway to Aruba, so we took a family trip to Asheville, North Carolina and brought Noah this time! To be honest, when I think of vacation locations, this would not have been at the top of my list but maybe it should have been. You see, Asheville is a very pretty, artsy city in western North Carolina. Reminds me of a cross between Seattle and Portland.
